CONGRATS to our Elliott Mickelberry on her commitment to the University of Cincinnati.  Learn about her journey in her own words:

"I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school and quickly fell in love with the sport. After joining club, I realized that if I wanted to play at the collegiate level, I needed to improve quickly—so I committed to getting extra reps whenever I could. My senior year, I switched to Norco, where I grew significantly as a player, gained more opportunities, and continued to develop through hard work, being coachable, and taking constructive criticism. 

Throughout my 3.5-year recruiting journey, I stayed patient and focused, knowing I wanted to find a school that challenged me both athletically and academically. That patience paid off, and now I’m so excited to announce that l will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Cincinnati, playing Division I volleyball! I am incredibly grateful for my family for always supporting me throughout my volleyball journey. A huge thank you to Coach Tomic, Zheng, Ali, and Sean for this amazing opportunity to play at the next level. I also want to thank my current coaches Dana Burkhlder and Makena Ehlert, as well as my teammates, for always pushing me to be the best I can be. And to God, for blessing me with the ability to pursue my passion. I can't wait to begin this next chapter-  Go Bearcats!!!"
