Karrie Downey Larsen is a California native returning to coach once again for NORCO! Karrie played collegiality for CU earning All-Big 8 and All-Midwest Region honors, career leader in kills, digs and attempts, and was the Colorado Female Athlete of the Year in 1995 - this fall, Karrie, will be induced into the CU Athletic Hall of Fame!

After college, Karrie played professional volleyball in Switzerland from 1995-96. During the 1997 season she played professionally for the Colorado Thunder, helping the team to the National Volleyball League Championship. From May 1997 through December 1998, Karrie was a starting outside hitter for the USA National Team. She earned the Best Defense/Reception Award at the Grand Prix in 1997 and the Best Defense Award at the NORCECA Tournament in 1998.

Karrie returned to Colorado and coached with NORCO, until she became the CSU Assistant Coach. While coaching the Rams, Karrie served as an assistant coach for the 2007 U.S. Women's Junior National Team.
