Core Coaches of the Month - Mackenna Basore and Jadyn McCartney!

Mackenna Basore is the current head coach for the 15-Blue and 12-Blue teams. She is from Los Angeles, California, where she grew up playing club volleyball. Her coaching career began in California where she started out coaching a 13’s club team. She then moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University, where she majored in Business Administration and Sports Management. While at CSU, Mackenna worked as a manager for the Division 1 volleyball team, doing all of their statistics and film. She graduated in December 2019 and is looking to coach volleyball collegiately. She has been coaching at Norco for the past three seasons and enjoys working in such a fun and competitive environment. She is looking forward to the season ahead and is excited to see her teams grow!

Jadyn McCartney is currently a junior at the University of Northern Colorado, studying elementary education with a minor in special education and sign language. She has coached volleyball for six years and has played this sport for ten years. Originally from Nebraska, Jadyn played club all throughout her high school career in North Platte Nebraska. 

She coached at Loveland Volleyball Club for two years as a head coach and is now the 17 Blue Assistant Coach at NORCO. She has performed numerous private lessons in the past - her main love is to train defense, serving, hitting, blocking, and serve receive. She is looking forward to working with you guys!

Prep Coach of the Month - Tiffany Villavicencio

Tiffany is a former NORCO athlete and coach that has returned to coaching for the club as a Prep 12's coach after a 15-year hiatus. In addition to coaching club and prep volleyball, she has also coached middle school, high school summer camps and local rec league volleyball, instilling the love of the sport in athletes as young as third grade. 

Tiffany grew up in Loveland and played for NORCO during all four years of high school. When a knee injury prevented Tiffany from playing volleyball in college, she began coaching for NORCO during her freshman year at CSU. 

Tiffany is the General Manager of The Promenade Shops at Centerra and has been at the shopping center since before it opened in 2005; originally as the property's Marketing Coordinator. In 2019, she was recognized as one of BizWest's 40 Under Forty professionals in Northern Colorado. She has three dogs and two children; a 12 year old son, Keaton, and a 10 year old daughter, Macy, who started playing for NORCO this year. She will celebrate her 15th wedding anniversary in April to her husband Gil, a Colorado State Trooper. 

In her free time, Tiffany enjoys graphic design, snow skiing, cooking, camping, traveling the world and scuba diving.
