Kenzie Busick is from Parker, Colorado and is currently the 13 Black assistant coach. Her coaching career began with helping out at youth clinics and High school summer camps, which led her to her first official position as the head coach of the 7th Grade girls volleyball team at Liberty Common Middle School. Kenzie’s coaching style is based off building a foundation and cultivating a passion for the game, which made her position with NORCO an ideal fit.

Kenzie grew up playing volleyball as well as riding horses competitively. Come High school, volleyball became a full-time commitment for Kenzie and she tried out to play with Front Range Volleyball Club. After playing with Front Range for 4 years, Kenzie committed to play college volleyball at Briar Cliff University in Iowa. Kenzie played as an outside and DS, but would fill in as a setter or libero if needed.

After Freshman year playing college volleyball, Kenzie moved back to Colorado and transferred to CSU to major in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology. Kenzie currently is saving up money working in the restaurant industry and at Corepower yoga, and is planning on applying to vet school within the next few years. Kenzie is excited for the season coaching with Audra Pearson and has high expectations for the 13 Black team!

Kelly Allen is the current 11-Black Head Coach and has been a youth club volleyball coach for a total of 6 years and played club all throughout her middle school and high school years. While growing up in the small mountain town of Granby, CO athletics became a major part of who she was as a person. From being a 4-sport athlete and adding in things like Rodeo and 4-H on the side, Kelly always knew she wanted to coach in some way once she couldn’t play for herself anymore. NORCO has been the perfect place for that to happen.

Before coaching, she played for Hasting College in Hastings, Nebraska. After a change in career goals, she transferred to CSU in Fort Collins to play on their traveling club team and pursue a degree in Interior Design and minors in Business, and Sustainability. During the school year and club play, coaching proved to be such a rewarding break while working with young kids that had the same passion and desire to play.

Now Kelly is an Interior Designer at Aneka Interiors Inc. in Denver, CO. where she designs luxury residential homes, high-end assisted living communities, and furniture procurement. While this job has always been her dream of a career, coaching youth players will always be a burning passion she holds. To see the growth and development of players not only in their volleyball skills, but in their character and mindset is something she hopes to continue as long as she can!
