Hello NORCO Family,
My name is Madison Webb, and I am from Loveland, Colorado. I am 23 years old and proud to say that I had the opportunity to call NORCO home. At a young age I was introduced to the game of volleyball, and it did not take long before I fell in love with the sport. I threw my heart, soul, and the majority of my time into volleyball and somewhere along the way decided that I wanted to pursue playing at the collegiate level. Through the help of awesome coaches and teammates at NORCO, I was able to continue my volleyball career at Chadron State College where I started as their setter for four years.
Volleyball was what drove me, pushed me, challenged me, and taught me. I would not trade my time as a Chadron State athlete for the world. In May of 2019, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Not ready to let the world of sport go, I planned to go on staff with Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a Campus Representative at the University of Denver working with and alongside their student athletes. Plans quickly changed as I received a phone call two weeks after graduation. Following a biopsy, the results showed that I had stage 2b Breast Cancer. I moved back to Loveland and into my parent’s house where I was surrounded by their overwhelming love and care.
On the court I faced challenges where the opponent was bigger, faster, and sometimes stronger. However, the facts did not determine the outcome of the game, and I loved competing against a tough opponent because it never failed to bring out the best in me and my team. Volleyball has taught me more life lessons than I can count, and this was one of the biggest ones. Instead of a team, cancer was the opponent and I decided to fight it with all that I had unwilling to fall victim to the diagnosis.
During the year of 2019 I underwent six rounds of chemotherapy, had surgery, and just completed 30 rounds of radiation in January 2020. By the grace of God, He healed me. I am living cancer free! I would not be where I am today without the love of my parents, my sister, and my boyfriend who stood by my side on the good days and the hardest days. Volleyball has helped shaped me into the woman I am today, and for that, I will be forever grateful to the game. Enjoy the time you get in the gym, on the court, with your teammates, and then when that chapter closes continue to live out the game in this thing we call life because it might just end up saving you like it did me.
This year's 'Purple Out' shirt profits will be donated to Madison Webb for medical expenses. Order forms for Purple Shirts can be found in the lobby.

Dear NORCO Families and Staff,
We are thrilled to formally announce the commencement of a new "Home" for NORCO Juniors Volleyball Club that will be located in the Centerra Community of Northern Colorado. Our vision over the last 35 years has always been about offering our NORCO families the best program possible and this new facility will better serve everyone with more space for training, new programs and a much larger parking lot.
Our current facility is 29,0000 sq. ft., with 6 courts and a 9' serving approach area. The new facility will be 60,000 sq. ft., 10 courts, 3 outdoor sand courts, 340 on-site parking stalls and a 15' service approach zone. We are incredibly grateful for our current building which excelled us to a much higher level but our growth has created a greater need for more space. Our new home will have the best volleyball training center in the state, with better spectator seating and circulation. The new building will be located 1.5 miles West of I-25 and Crossroads Blvd with an anticipated opening date of September 1, 2020.
Loyalty and support from our past and present families has been instrumental in our successful growth and our vision of offering the very best will continue in this greatly improved facility. Should you have any questions regarding our move next year, please contact us. We will be sending periodical updates on the progress of construction.
Thank you all,
Cathy R. Mahaffey, Ed. D

NORCO Volleyball is a non-profit organization that focuses on developing volleyball players into well-rounded individuals. Our focus is more than volleyball and our qualified coaches strive to teach young men and women how to be successful. Every year, we hope to instill lasting impressions on these players that they will carry with them for a lifetime. Club Volleyball is a tool that teaches young men and women how to face difficult circumstances where they are forced to be uncomfortable and pushed to balance school, life, family, and volleyball. This is a challenge for every young adult and a necessary part of preparing for the next stages in life.
You have an opportunity to give back to Norco. Whether you're a long-time volleyball enthusiast, former player, former parent, current player, current parent, or anything else, we would love for you to partner with NORCO.
