Congratulations to Jim Stone and the Girl's Youth National Team - 2019 FIVB U18 World Champions! It has been an elusive title for the team to clinich in both 2013 and 2015. It wasn't easy, the Italian team fought hard and took USA to 5 sets, but USA edged their way to a victory in the 5th set. Jim had to say, 'I'm happy that we won the first title for USA in the history of this competition. We worked very hard for that from the first day to the end... I want to thank all my players for the hard work they have done throughout the competition.' Jim is a four year NORCO Coach and current Technical Director.
LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE USAV SEASON?
At NORCO Juniors, we offer the "BEST" training, the highest standards of coaching and the belief that "players come first"! We have "35" years of training, competing and sending players off to their school or collegiate programs AND developing lifelong relationships with our families. We are a Non-Profit 501c (3) organization that offers competitive teams at both the Regional and National levels. Our membership includes players, parents and coaches that are passionate and committed to maximizing each players full potential. When you join our family, you see our goal is to offer a very organized and dedicated club that families can afford.
At NORCO, we also offer a less expensive and shorter time commitment program - Prep. Our Prep Program (designed for players ages 10-17) is a 14 week commitment with 3 tourneys, all taking place at NORCO. Those tryouts are held in October and details are located on our Programs tab. Tryouts consist of player evaluations then players are placed on teams based on skill level first, then age. Prep membership fees are all inclusive - practices, practice and game uniforms, tournaments, and coach's pay.
And they're on the court - this past weekend many collegiate teams started their official seasons. Grace DuBay, WYO Gold player and now a Utah State Aggie, racked up an impressive 27 digs against Southern Utah - her second match of the season!
Good Luck Grace!
Another NORCO WYO Freshman - Rylee Hladky started her collegiate career with Metro State as their Outside Hitter against Western Oregon last week. Rylee earned Player of the Match and posted 16 kills and 7 digs in their first match of the season! The Roadrunners are 4-0 to start off the 2019 season.
Keep it up, Rylee!

NORCO Volleyball is a non-profit organization that focuses on developing volleyball players into well-rounded individuals. Our focus is more than volleyball and our qualified coaches strive to teach young men and women how to be successful. Every year, we hope to instill lasting impressions on these players that they will carry with them for a lifetime. This is a challenge for every young adult and a necessary part of preparing for the next stages in life.
You have an opportunity to give back to Norco. Whether you're a long-time volleyball enthusiast, former player, former parent, current player, current parent, or anything else, we would love for you to partner with NORCO.
