Annika Larson Commits to Arizona State University

Annika Larson, a Junior at Rocky Mountain High School and 2017-2018 member of NORCO’s 18 Black team has verbally committed to play D1 volleyball for the Arizona State University, Sun Devils in 2019! She will be playing against her current club teammates Anna Dodson (UCLA) and MacKenzie Fidelak (Stanford) in the PAC 12.

Annika has played Libero/DS at Norco for 4 years. Each year her team has earned bids to the USAV Junior Nationals. Most recently, her 17 Black team secured three Open bids to Nationals including an outright win at Spokane's Northwest Qualifier. 

Annika is a two year track and volleyball letter winner and was named 2016 Rocky Mountain High School Player of the Year amassing 591 digs in 82 sets which was the top digs/set (7.2) in Colorado 5A. She is a two-time Cherry Creek All-tournament team award winner, 2016 Denver Post 5A All State team member, 2016 Coloradoan All-Area Volleyball Team member, named to the CHSAA 5A All State Honorable Mention team in volleyball and was named to national Prep Volleyball’s Sophomore 79 Highest Honorable Mention List and Defensive Dandies 7th team. In 2017 she qualified for State in the 300 hurdles and was a DECA Business State finalist. She holds a 3.96 GPA.
